Hailing from Paradise Valley, Arizona, Jennifer Bennett has always had a passion for musical theatre and vocal performance. Jennifer belted her way to Los Angeles and attended the University of Southern California, Thornton School of Music, where she received her B.M. in Vocal Performance.
Upon completing her Bachelor’s degree, she received her M.M. in Musical Theatre from the Boston Conservatory. When she wasn’t enjoying some wicked good clam chowdah, Jennifer could be found onstage as a concert soloist with the Boston Pops conducted by Keith Lockhart or belting the national anthem at Fenway Park.
Wanting to combine her joy for traveling with her love for performance, Jennifer also studied acting at the British American Drama Academy in Oxford, England, musical theatre at NYU’s CAP 21, and opera at OperaWorks in California. She has performed in New York at Birdland and the Laurie Beechman Theatre, and in New Hampshire with the Great Waters Music Festival and New Hampshire Dance Institute.
Fueling her wanderlust, Jennifer traveled the world in the International Tour of CATS. She has also performed in many regional theatres throughout the country. Some of her favorite credits include: The Marvelous Wonderettes, Light in the Piazza, Guys and Dolls, The Golden Apple, Sunday in the Park with George, and The Full Monty. Jennifer has also begun narrating audiobooks.
In addition to being a performer, Jennifer also teaches private voice lessons out of her home studio in Northridge. She is currently on the Musical Theatre faculty at AMDA (American Musical Dramatic Academy) in Hollywood, CA teaching Individual Voice. She is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association and Musical Theatre Guild.
